British Airways Cabin Crew Went On Strike!!!

London, England (CNN) -- British Airways cabin crew members went on strike at midnight Friday, leaving thousands of would-be passengers' travel plans for seven days over the next two weeks up in the air.
The strike came after British Airways Chief Executive Willie Walsh and the joint general secretary of the Unite union, Tony Woodley, emerged Friday from a meeting and announced the effort to avert the walkout had failed, each blaming the other.
"This company does not want to negotiate," Woodley said of British Airways. "This company wants ultimately to go to war with my members and the union."
Walsh said he "deeply regrets" the inconvenience the strikes will cause to passengers but said the company will still try to operate as many flights as possible. "I am disappointed the union has not been able to see the sense of the proposal we tabled today," Walsh said.
The announcement likely means chaos for thousands of BA passengers wondering whether they can travel during the strikes. British Airways posted lists on its Web site of flights that it plans to operate during the walkout.

A spokesperson for Prime Minister Gordon Brown said he "believes that this strike is in no one's interest and will cause unacceptable inconvenience to passengers. He urges the strike be called off immediately" and the two sides return to bargaining.

Breath in…breath out…..breath in…..this shit is not working, I’m speechless I can’t wait to hear what excuses they come up for this nonsense.

Wal-Mart officials are looking at security tapes after an announcement was made for "all black people'' to leave a store in South Jersey.

A man used the public-address system at the Route 42 store in Washington Township Sunday night and calmly announced: "Attention Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now.''

Patricia Covington and Shelia Ellington were inside the store when it happened and told the Courier Post that customers and store employees looked stunned when they heard it.

"In 2010, I want to know why such statements are being made because it flies in the face of what we teach them [our kids] at home, and that's tolerance for people," said Ellington.

Ellington and other customers let store management and police know they were upset.

They asked the store to use the same announcement system to apologize to customers that night, which it did.

Wal-Mart management called the incident "unacceptable," and said it's working to make sure nothing like this happens at any other stores.

Tiger Woods released a statement saying:

“The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect,” Tiger said in a statement. “After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.
“The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played.
“I have undergone almost two months of inpatient therapy and I am continuing my treatment,” the statement read. “Although I’m returning to competition, I still have a lot of work to do in my personal life.
“When I finally got into a position to think about competitive golf again, it became apparent to me that the Masters would be the earliest I could play.”

You know Monica is a perfect example of an entertainer that has it all together, I respect the way she addressed the situation without dogging him. I believe the reason for the split is because he cheated and instead of sounding like a bitter woman she took the high road. I’ve always respected her but now more than ever….such a classy lady!!

I am going to do what I have always done. Focus on my children, my family & my career. Rock was put under a lot of harsh scrutiny during our entire relationship and I’m sure that was not easy.

However at this point our focus is being great parents. He is a great father to his children and, continuing forward, that is my only concern. With every breath in our bodies we will make sure that they feel as little pain as possible and continue to have the lives they had before with no attention dedicated to our separation. I will not be speaking on the subject further unless it is with God whom I believe does everything with reason. I love my children and their father and I’m truly grateful for those that loved and supported us through the good and the bad throughout the years.
